Tax Executive - Legal Practice

An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Executive to join our highly reputable and established firm in Chichester.

The Tax Executive will work closely with the Head of Trusts and the Head of Private Client.

An extensive knowledge of HMRC requirements is essential both administrative and theoretical.

KEY TASKS (not exhaustive)

• To prepare Trust, Estate and Personal tax returns, with full awareness of HMRC deadlines, including inheritance tax
• Client advice, both personal and by correspondence
• Business development awareness
• Use of accounting and time recording software

QUALIFICATIONS, ACADEMIC SKILLS and DEVELOPMENT

• You will have a good academic record.
• CTA, Level 3 ICB Diploma, Step or similar
• Some accounting experience in Trust and Estate accounts useful
• Previous experience within the legal profession
• Computer Literate
• To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development
