Tax Manager - 100% Remote

Tax & Treasury Recruitment have been exclusively mandated by a FTSE250 media and technology company to source and select Tax Manager. This is a fully remote-working (UK based) role which has been created following an exciting period of change.  Reporting directly to the Head of Tax & Treasury, you'll also liaise with external advisors on capital allowances and R&D tax relief claims, assist with HMRC enquiries, and review and approve VAT returns. Your strategic mindset will be crucial in managing the group effective tax rate, proposing and implementing tax planning opportunities, and leading tax-related projects to drive efficiency and minimize risk.

You must have experience in the following:

• Managing the preparation and filing of all tax returns Ensure compliance with local and international tax requirements. Preparing tax figures and disclosures for inclusion in our Group consolidated and statutory accounts, while managing Group quarterly corporation tax payments on account.

Qualifications & Experience

 Qualified Accountant (for example ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and/or Qualified Tax Advisor (for example ATII or CTA), combined with significant UK Corporate Tax experience gained from withi a large corporate environment. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of circa £65,000 to £80,000, bonus, matched pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday (which increases over time), and private healthcare.
