Job Description

Based on the outskirts of Tring, Hertfordshire, our well-renowned client seeks a Tax Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Predominantly office based but options for hybrid.

This role would suit an ATT qualified accountant, CTA qualification would be advantageous, however this company can offer study support for pursuing the CTA Qualification. With solid experience in both personal and corporate tax management, to be responsible for delivering top-tier tax advisory services with a corporate focus to large portfolio.

The business is a distinguished and rapidly expanding accounting firm with a committed team of experts. They are praised for providing outstanding services to a diverse range of clients in various industries.

The successful individual will possess a strong knowledge of tax laws and regulatory requirements with proven leadership skills with a skill for mentoring. You will have good interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrate initiative and be able to provide accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Duties will include:

• Lead the preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Ensure full compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations.
• Suggest innovative tax planning strategies to clients.
• Mentor and inspire a team of talented tax professionals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Drive business development proposals within the tax department.
• Collaborate across departments to provide seamless client service.
• Stay ahead of changes in tax legislation and communicate these effectively to your team and clients.
