SalaryWe are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Burton on Trent. Reporting directly to our Financial Controller and with a link into our Milan HQ, the role will be responsible for ensuring UK compliance with both the Group and Local tax policy whilst being the main point of contact and expertise for any tax related queries within the business.
This is a busy operational role which will involve accounting, reporting and forecasting of tax liabilities whilst also providing a full advisory service within the business.
The successful candidate will be CTA qualified as a minimum and will have tax advisory experience within a large corporate environment. In addition, the candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and will have experience of established relations with HMRC.
Given the frequency of legislative changes, it’s essential that the successful candidate is proactive in maintaining their up-to-date knowledge on tax issues / changes.
Salary for this role will be £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending upon skills, background and experience.

The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, although flexibility is required to work beyond these hours when required. We have a Smart working policy (hybrid working; 3 days in the office and 2 days at home), although any new starters to the business will be required to be in the office on a full-time basis initially.
