Tax Risk & Operations Senior Manager

This is a fast growing manufacturing group with a global footprint and revenues of over $10bn.

This is a strategic role is where you will be responsible for coordinating and managing this groups key tax processes. Reporting to the Senior Director of Tax Risk (US) and the Head of Tax, the position will work closely with the Group Tax Team and the global finance organization. The primary objective is to develop and execute the Group Tax Strategy, focusing on end-to-end processes related to Tax Risks, internal controls, technology, innovation, business integration, and global awareness.

Main Responsibilities;

* Be a pivotal and visible part of global tax team, and lead in coordinating Key Global Tax Processes
* Design and execute efficient tax processes, covering areas such as: Tax risk, tax provision, tax compliance, tax audits, Pillar II, sustainability
* Collaborate with management and regional teams to drive tax initiatives and resolve tax issues.
* Manage the tax control framework, including SOX and other internal controls, to mitigate Tax Risk across the group.
* Act as a risk manager by continuously assessing the tax environment and ensuring compliance with tax reporting obligations.
* Oversee the tax provision process for Asian regions.
* Assist the Global Tax team on various projects.
* Provide guidance on tax-related issues, with a focus on operations in Asia.
* Drive continuous improvement within the tax area, especially focusing on tax technology.
* Optimize tax processes and implement procedural changes to enhance the tax function.
* Develop efficiency drivers and KPIs to reduce costs and improve quality.

About you;

* Minimum 10 years experience ideally
* Strong experience in US GAAP tax reporting.
* Good understanding of US tax rules and compliance.
* Experience in international tax and transfer pricing.
* Familiarity with control frameworks, including SOX.
* Significant experience in process-oriented and end-to-end approaches.
* Understanding of finance and tax-related technology systems
* Solid understanding of finance and tax data.
