Job Role Taxi Licensing Officer

Location Birmingham/Hybrid

Working Hours : 37 Hours Per Week

HancoxRead Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Taxi Licensing Officer on behalf of their client.

Purpose of Role

This role involves ensuring that all taxi operators and drivers comply with relevant regulations and licensing requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and investigative skills, with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with stakeholders.\

Education\Experience Requirements

• Previous Experience of Taxi Licensing
• Extensive experience of dealing with the public.
• Recent administrative/clerical/reception experience.
• English and Maths Qualification
• Ability to produce letters, standard and non-standard and answering queries from Council Departments, members of the public, external agencies and organisations
• Ability to produce appeal witness/witness statements.
• Ability to deal with members of the public with tact and diplomacy in stressful situations
• Computer Literate
