Compass Schools offer an integrated programme of education and therapy for young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Age range for students vary from setting to setting accommodating years 4 to 11.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher/Instructor to join our team at Pott Row, King’s Lynn. As a classroom teacher/instructor you will be planning organising and leading the educational provision for a group of 6-7 young people. You will be using your high quality teaching expertise to engage and develop the young people in your care, supported by a team of support assistants and therapy staff. You will be working in a challenging environment with a high level of support and the opportunity to witness rapid progress and genuine change.
This post requires a high level of initiative and independent working and we are looking for a candidate who has worked in the school sector with challenging students.
Suitable candidates will be able to work well under their own initiative and have high levels of resilience, excellent ICT and administrative skills and an exemplary attendance record.
Our school provides a unique opportunity to provide for both the educational and mental health needs of our pupils in one setting. All of our pupils are assessed on entry, with a highly personalised package of education and therapeutic support provided accordingly.
Progress is reviewed on a regular basis and overseen by a highly skilled team of education and therapy staff. Many of our pupils have missed key areas in both developmental and educational support.
