Job Title: Teacher of Animal Care (Maternity Cover to November 2024)
Job Location: Broomfield Hall, Derby

Salary: Up to £40,080 per annum pro rata
Hours: 14.8 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher to join our excellent Level 3 Animal Care department at Broomfield Hall.
You will be required to deliver high quality, inspirational teaching which encourages learners to reach their full potential, promoting progression on to higher level courses or preparing them for careers working with animals.
As part of the Animal Care team, you will be required to participate in the resourcing and preparation of the course delivery and assessment, undertake course administration including setting and reviewing academic targets with learners.
You will take an active part in course related trips and visits, recruitment of learners and supporting the work experience that learners undertake as part of their course as well as ensuring that all college and awarding body standards are met.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of providing outstanding support for learners and be flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement and quality. Up to date knowledge and experience of Animal husbandry including the handling, feeding and behaviour of Animals is essential. Experience of delivering C&G Technical in Animal Management at Level 3 is desirable.
