An inspirational and well-qualified Classicist is required from September 2024 to join this large, dynamic and high-achieving department on a full-time basis. We offer both Latin and Greek at GCSE and A level and our take up is strong. Our results are consistently outstanding: in % gained Grade 9 in GCSE Latin and 100% gained Grade 9 in Greek; at A level 100% gained A /A in Latin and Greek. We have just introduced Classical Civilisation at GCSE and in September 2024 we shall start to teach our first cohort of A level Classical Civilisation students. Expertise in teaching the new A level would be very welcome.

All staff working in the School will have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. Staff with teaching duties will be responsible for the pupils that they teach and may also have additional specific pastoral or other responsibilities for other pupils they do not teach.
