An ‘Outstanding’ school in Newham is seeking a Teacher of Economics to join them from September on a full-time permanent basis.

The Role:

• Strong knowledge of the Economics curriculum, especially at A-Level.
• Organised and professional manner.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the Economics department and throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
• As a Teacher of Economics, you must be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Economics lessons.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements:

• An Economics-related degree is highly desirable.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at the secondary level.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
