In addition to your subject area you may also be required to deliver another subject within another curriculum area and undertake the duties of a course leader.
To do this role, you will have…
• A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
• A relevant Teaching Qualification (e.g. PGCE) and current professional registration;
• Experience of teaching (or studying to teach), ideally in a Further Education environment;
• A record of outstanding student achievement;
• The knowledge and flexibility to teach more than one subject if necessary;
• A commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD), lifelong learning and willingness to undertake additional training or qualifications if appropriate;
• An excellent working knowledge of Teacher Standards and how to these apply in practice; Knowledge of active learning and teaching styles and be able to demonstrate innovative practice; Experience of using a variety of IT and e-learning systems.
