Do you have a passion for teaching secondary Religious Education? Do you have curriculum planning or curriculum lead experience? Would you welcome the opportunity to improve pupil outcomes at a national level while working flexibly from home on an exciting new curriculum package? If so we would love to hear from you!
Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) has an exciting opportunity for outstanding, creative and inspirational secondary RE teachers to work with Oak National Academy to support in the development of free, high-quality curriculum packages for Secondary RE. These will be made available to teachers and pupils for use in-class and provide a national contingency for remote education should it be needed in the event of disruption.
We are looking to recruit a group of experienced specialists to work with us for a year as part of a Lesson Production Team, to develop model lessons for our secondary curriculum, designed and adapted by our Senior Lead Practitioner for Humanities alongside a panel of subject experts.
This work can be completed flexibly by passionate, self-starting teachers who are excited by this unique opportunity. We can consider part- or full-time working patterns (minimum of 0.6) and are happy to discuss options with interested subject specialists. There is no fixed location so you can be based from anywhere in the UK, although some occasional travel to locations in the OAT network may be required (business expenses met). Existing TLRs for candidates who are successfully appointed in the role will be honoured.
