King Edward VI School Lichfield is seeking a dynamic, well-qualified teacher of Religious Studies with a high level of subject knowledge and a real passion for their subject. Due to staffing changes and curriculum demand we are looking for at least one full-time teacher. There is also the possibility of a second role, either part-time or full-time for a candidate who is able to offer a second subject.
Religious Studies is highly successful at our school from Key Stage 3 through to our thriving Sixth Form. All students take a full GCSE course in Religious Studies and we also have a thriving A-level course in the Sixth Form. We are looking for a teacher with infectious enthusiasm, excellent communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents. The appointed teacher will be expected to teach up to at least GCSE level with the possibility of post-16 teaching over time for a suitable candidate.
