Penistone Grammar School has a vacancy for a full-time, permanent Teacher of Food/Technology who has the enthusiasm and drive to join this well-established team with the possibility of TLR2 role (2nd in Department to the right candidate)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary Range: MPS/UPS (ECTs welcome to apply)
TLR: TLR2C, £3213 per annum
Start Date: September 2023
About the role:You will be a first-class practitioner possibly looking to develop your leadership knowledge, skills and expertise through a TLR role as second in Department, who will thrive upon the commitment our students have to their learning. A teacher who has the determination and talent to make a difference in the life of each and every student you teach; a teacher who shares our vision and can inspire our young people to achieve more than they believe is possible.
You should have previous experience of teaching Food/Technology at KS3, KS4 Food Preparation and Nutrition at GCSE and be willing to teach A-level where required. To be considered for the Second in Department, you should have previous leadership experience or be ambitious at the opportunity of developing their knowledge and skills in this area.
