Teacher of the Deaf | Mainstream Primary School | Resource Base | September Start

September start for a suitably experienced SEN Teacher for a resource base of a mainstream primary school in East London.

• Assume the role of lead teacher within the resource base
• The unit benefits from excellent funding thus enjoys state of the art facilities.
• Long-standing and skilled team of staff provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Looking for a creative teacher who is confident communicating in British Sign Language
• BSL Level 1 or 2 and a desire to get Qualified Teacher of the Deaf status if not already achieved

This role would suit a qualified teacher with QTS and looking to become a qualified Teacher of the Deaf.

Applicants should have previous experience working with deaf children or young people and have at least BSL Level 1, ideally Level 2.
