Teaching Assistant
St Peter at Gowts is an inclusive school where our highly motivated teaching staff work hard to support and challenge our children.
We currently have a temporary Teaching Assistant post for 25 hours per week.
These hours are split with 15 hours in a 1:1 post and 10 hours as a general Teaching Assistant.

Temporary Teaching Assistant Post (Term Time Only) - St Peter at Gowts C of E Primary School
Grade G3 6-9 £22737 to £23893 pro rata
25 hours per week (15 hours 1:1, 10 hours general TA)
The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring every child succeeds, have excellent communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative. It would be desirable for candidates to hold GSCE Maths and English.

We are looking for a professional colleague who can:
- Assist with the planning and preparation of activities and implement provision plans including programmes from outside agencies
- Take an active role in the planning, delivery and assessment of specific intervention programmes
- Promote a child’s development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social) whilst fostering growth, self-esteem and independence
- Be willing to learn and develop existing skills
- Act in accordance with school policies and procedures and relevant legislation

Fluency Duty
