Teaching Assistant
Grade 3 SCP 3-6 (£22,737-£23,893) Pro Rata
Part Time 6 hours a week, Term Time Only
Temporary Position until 31/08/2024

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced grade 3 practitioner to join our dedicated and hardworking team.
Tremorfa Nursery School is a busy and vibrant community school in the heart of Tremorfa. The school has excellent relationships with children, parents and the local community. We seek to nurture and care for the family as a whole and are committed to developing the school as a base for families to play and learn together.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced early years practitioner.
We are looking for a practitioner who is well versed in child development, committed to the principles of play based practice and enjoy working with very young learners and their families.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
