Teaching Assistant

Step Teachers is collaborating closely with a C of E primary school in Enfield committed to delivering outstanding care and education to its students. The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis.

Teaching Assistant Role:

• Supporting children's social, emotional, and intellectual development through interactive play and learning experiences
• Providing individualised attention and support to children with varying needs and abilities
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements
• As a Teaching Assistant, you must foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary-aged students as a Teaching Assistant is essential
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A relevant qualification in childcare is desirable
