Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Brent
Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our educators and students in their learning journey. You will work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, provide individualized support to students, and assist with various instructional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional assistance.
- Assist in classroom management and behavior support strategies.
- Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.
- Support students during transitions and supervise them during non-instructional times.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every student feels valued and supported.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- You must hold an enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to process for one.
