Job description: We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our team on an ad hoc basis during exam periods in Crewe. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students during their exams, providing assistance and encouragement to ensure they can perform to the best of their abilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist students with exam preparation and organisation.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Supervise exam rooms and ensure that all exam regulations are followed.
- Offer emotional support and reassurance to students during exam periods.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and exam invigilators to create a supportive and conducive exam environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide support to students during stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work on an ad hoc basis during exam periods.
