Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with class teachers to implement engaging and effective teaching and learning activities.
- Contribute to the development and preparation of creative and inclusive learning resources.
- Provide support for individual and small group learning activities, catering to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster positive relationships with students, creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance the overall success of the classroom and school community.
- Offer valuable feedback to teachers regarding student progress and engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions effectively.
- Patient and nurturing approach toward supporting students' learning.
- Familiarity with basic classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
