Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with teachers to assist in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational requirements.
• Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Support students during structured activities, break times, and outings.
• Implement behaviour management strategies and provide guidance on positive behaviour.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders regarding student progress and welfare.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is essential.
• A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and support their individual learning journeys.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting student learning and development.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
