Emley First School is friendly, community school in a beautiful rural setting, judged as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted in April 2024.
We are looking to appoint a passionate and hardworking member of support staff to join our dedicated, hard-working, friendly team. As a key member of our team you will work under the guidance of class teachers to support the effective running of the school and the learning of pupils in all curriculum areas. The role will be temporary until 31st March 2025 in the first instance due to budget restraints however it may be extended beyond this date.
We are looking for a someone who:
- Has experience of working with children
- Is enthusiastic and dedicated to enabling every child to fulfil their potential
- Is willing, and able, to work with children across all age ranges within school
- Has experience of, or is willing to be trained in, Read, Write Inc Phonics Scheme and Early Language Development
- Has experience of supporting children in large groups, small groups and as individuals
- Is able to work in a team and adapt their practice
