Axcis are working with a school in the Cardiff are who are looking to recruit a TA to work 1-1 with a pupil in KS2 with SEMH (social, emotional, mental health difficulties). The role starts at the end of the month and will run till the end of the academic year. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. This role is Monday to Friday. You will need to be able to quickly establish trust and rapport with the child as you will be working 1-1 with them all day. You will need to be empathetic, compassionate, calm and kind. The child exhibits challenging behaviour and needs a lot of reassurance and a positive role model. You will be supporting the child with all of their studies and you will need to work well with the class teacher and the school SENCO.
