Hiring Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant for a Special Needs School

Start: ASAP

Salary: £13/hr

Timing: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Type: Full Time (Term Time Only)

Students: Children and young people aged 3 to 19 who have a range of complex and significant learning needs in the area of cognition and learning (with other co-occurring conditions).

Job Role:

• Supporting pupils on either a 1-2-1 or small group basis
• Promoting progress in student's social and emotional well-being
• Assisting with off-site activities / school trips
• Motivate and encourage students as required
• Highly rewarding position where you can have a direct impact on a student's life

Requirements:

• Right to Work in the UK (No Sponsorship provided) (Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible)
• Enhanced DBS (We can help you apply for it)
• Able to Manage Behaviour among students with Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs
• Candidates that can drive will be preferable (Not Mandatory)
• Candidate with experience as a Support Worker / Carer / SEN TA / Sports Coach / Prison Officers
