TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 – (Based at Loxley Primary School)
POSITION – 20 HOURS a week, term time only plus 5 Teacher Days (39 weeks total) including 5 sessions per week as Midday Supervisor (½ hour per day).
Hours of work: TA2 – 8.30am to 12pm/Midday Supervisor – 12pm to 12.30pm
Fixed term initially for 12 months, with potential to extend
SALARY - Band F actual salary £9839 - £10521

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work at Loxley Primary School. The post is for a Teaching Assistant to support learning in a small Early Years/Year 1 class. We have happy and keen learners and a great team of experienced and hard-working staff. Come and join us!
Key Skills:
• Experience of working with children with a range of learning needs, and being able to tailor learning tasks and resources to enable all children to achieve
• Experience of delivering phonics sessions
• Willingness to work in a team with other staff to develop excellent provision
• Able to understand how to use assessment to inform next steps
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to interact with children kindly, enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly to overcome barriers to learning.
