Pay Rate 85- 90 per Day.

Are you an experienced SEN TA/Behaviour Mentor who specialises in working with challenging behaviours?

Chalk are recruiting for this SEN Teaching Assistant to role to start asap in a school in Warrington - the post is Mon - Fri, (phone number removed)pm on a long-term basis.

Job Description

This role will involve supporting pupils who display challenging behaviours/ASD, on a 1:1basis within the School . Experience and understanding of a range of SEND is helpful and knowledge of skills.

This role will suit a positive mentor who is resilient and flexible. The school provides excellent facilities and services. You will work closely with the class teacher assisting with lessons and activities while providing a happy and safe learning environment for the pupils

To be considered for this Behaviour Mentor role you will need:

Experience supporting young people with SEMH/Challenging behaviour

Ideal would be De-escalation / positive handling training

A positive attitude and flexible approach

Additional requirements:

o References confirming suitability for role

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service

o Eligibility to work in the UK
