The Federation of Hanbury' Farm and Oakhill Primary Schools currently educates approximately 300 children age 4 to 11, across 2 small schools. Both schools are one form entry Primary Schools with a short distance between them.
The Governing Body and Executive Headteacher of the Federation of Hanbury’s Farm and Oakhill Primary Schools are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with an EHCP. We wish to appoint an individual who is caring and at the same time conscientious in making sure that they nurture and support the pupil’s educational experience to the best it can be and will make a significant contribution to ensuring that the pupil makes good progress. This position will be based at Oakhill Primary School.

The successful candidate will:
Have experience of working with children in a Primary School setting.
Have an appropriate CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
Demonstrate a good standard of English and Maths
Have experience of working with children with additional needs.
Be able to work with the child under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
Liaise with parents and attend review meetings for the child.
Support the pupil with an empathetic and caring approach.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Be a dedicated, committed and passionate individual.

Salary: Grade 2 SCP 3 FTE £20,812 (pay award pending)
Actual Annual Salary: £12,449 Pro Rota for hours worked (pay award pending)
Additional Information: 39 working weeks, Term time only including 5 INSET days
