Address Axcis have a new job opportunity for a reliable and enthusiastic TA to work for one of our special educational needs schools, based in Sutton, working on a 1-1 basis starting as soon as possible. The school has pupils aged 4-11 years old and caters to supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). This position will be supporting a student in their learning on a 1-1 basis only and will not be classroom-based. The role will be full-time, 5 days per week however the school finishes at midday on a Friday. The right candidate will; - Have experience working with children, ideally from an SEN or care background - Possess good knowledge of specialist teaching techniques and behavioral management strategies - Have previous experience with SEMH, Asperger’s, SLD, PMLD, and complex needs, either would be beneficial - Overall be positive, reliable, and have a proactive approach to excel in a challenging environment Successful candidates must reliable and able to commit long term, due to the nature of this role and the needs of the children you will be working with.
