The Head Teacher of our local school in the Barrow In Furness area is looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant who can support a range of pupils needs in a group setting.
The role is for the mornings only and requires a very flexible and supportive team member for the pupils who need a range of requirements supported, all pupils in the groups hold ECHP’s to work with.
The school’s leaders have successfully established an ethos which focuses on compassion for others and prioritises the well-being of pupils, parents, carers and staff. In a positive and supportive environment, pupils become confident learners.
The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is:
- Knowledge and Understanding of National Curriculum
- Relevant Teaching Assistant/Early Years Qualification (Level 2/Level 3 or equivalent)
- A Teaching Assistant with a passion for improving standards
- Pro-active and resilient
- Strong Behaviour Management
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational or healthcare setting
