About the Role: GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time position in a Secondary School in Wakefield, with an immediate start date. This role involves supporting teachers in the classroom, helping students with their learning, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Job Summary:
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and resources.
- Provide support to students, individually or in groups, to help them understand and complete tasks.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of effective teaching and learning.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required by the teacher.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
