Teaching Assistant (SEND) Level 3
Salary: Grade 5, Local Pay Point Range 12-16 pro rata (actual salary £20,619 per annum)
30.50 hours per week, term time only

Green Park School is a successful all age day special school for children with profound and complex learning difficulties. We are looking for a Level 3Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher and the SENDCO to provide support for pupils\' learning and wellbeing.
As a Level 3Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Help teachers prepare lesson materials and set up the classroom
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning objectives
- Assist pupils with their physical, emotional and social needs
- Monitor and record pupils\' progress and behaviour
- Liaise with parents, carers and other professionals as required
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified or working towards NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
- Passionate about working with children with special educational needs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility and resilience
- A positive and proactive attitude
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
