Address We're collaborating closely with a school in Thornbury that is currently hiring for two full-time Teaching Assistants to join their team. The first role involves classroom support and is scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays. The second role is a 1:1 Teaching Assistant position for a child with challenging behaviors and medical needs, requiring support for all four days of the week. Both positions offer consistent hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. While the school is located in a small village, it is accessible by public transport, although having your own car or living nearby would be advantageous. The child requiring 1:1 support is in Year 5 and requires a committed, long-term Teaching Assistant until the end of the academic year to provide stability for the school, pupil, and parents. Previous experience working with challenging behaviors or SEND is essential for this role. The compensation for both positions is £13.39 per hour.
