Pay/Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 actual salary
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time Only

The Role
You will have the opportunity to support the children and young people aged 5 -19 with special educational needs and disabilities. We need your help to ensure every child is equipped to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment. Your expertise in planning and assessing learning activities will directly impact the progress of students with special educational needs. Collaborating closely with the teacher, you'll play a key role in monitoring and reporting their development, making a real difference in their educational experience. Your positive influence on behaviour and adaptability to changes will create a supportive environment crucial for their growth and well-being. You will experience making a meaningful impact on the lives of these children, contributing to their overall development and fostering a positive learning environment.

What you will need
- Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
- GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential.
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
- Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
- Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs
