Position: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £12.74
Availability: Monday to Friday during term time
About Us:
Reed is currently working with a school based in Merthyr, who cater for pupils between the ages of 3-19 years old. The team are seeking a Teaching Assistant who can join them in providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Their focus is on supporting children with multiple learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, and pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our students’ educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:
Classroom Support: Working closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Therapeutic Approach: Supporting students with behaviour management using trauma-informed techniques.
Teaching and Learning: Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
