TeacherActive are currently working alongside a fantastic, 2-form entry Primary School, rated "Good" in their latest Ofsted Inspection. Located in Stechford, they are now looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Team.

The Role
This is a full time position, starting ASAP, ongoing through to the end of the academic year (July 2024), and with the possibility of leading to a longer-term/permanent contract for the right TA.

The role includes providing general classroom support in the Year 6 classroom, specifically supporting with Reading. This will involve working 1:1 and with small groups of children, carrying out Reading activities and interventions.

Job Specification

The successful Teaching Assistant will need:

• A minimum of 6 months experience working in a Primary setting
• Experience working with KS2
• Level 3 qualification essential
• Strong initiative
• A kind and caring nature
• A genuine passion for making a difference in a child's life
