Job Duties: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities Support students with their learning, providing individual attention and guidance Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Help with classroom management and behaviour management Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and behaviour Assist in the supervision of students during break times, outings, and other activities Support students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with the teacher and other staff members to promote a cohesive educational experience Required Qualifications: CACHE Level 2 qualification Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Additional relevant certifications or training is a plus Experience: Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant is preferred Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships Good organisational and time management abilities Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure Basic knowledge of educational principles and practises Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes Preferred Qualifications: Higher level CACHE qualifications Additional certifications in specific areas such as special educational needs Working Conditions: Full-time position, working hours may vary based on school schedules Work primarily within a classroom setting May involve assisting with outdoor activities and field trips Collaboration with teachers, students, and other school staff members Potential exposure to challenging behaviour or emotional situations All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
