Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the educational and developmental needs of our students. Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with special needs or disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt instructional materials
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and teaching strategies
- Experience working with toddlers or children with special needs is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including working with people with autism or other developmental disabilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certification)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality
