What do the roles involve?
The main aims of both roles are to support our teachers to deliver academic excellence, day in, day out, with professionalism and enthusiasm. This will involve providing a comprehensive support service to our setting across Liverpool, including:
• Assisting pupils with their educational and social development, on an individual and group basis
• Providing support for individual pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
• Assisting teachers with the maintenance of student records
• Building and maintaining successful relationships with both children and parents/guardian
• Provide expertise to deliver a personalised curriculum for each pupil’s learning
• Ensure that every child is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported
What are we looking for from you?
Applicants will have previous experience of working with young people, either in an academic setting or as a voluntary worker. You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy. You will be committed to personal learning and development, and have a sincere commitment to sharing our long-term aims and drive for continuous improvement the lives or our children and young people.
What you need to apply:
• CACE Level 2/3 is preferred
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
• Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Must have experience working in early years
What to expect:
Working hours vary, but you would expect to usually work between 08:30 and 16.00 in most settings. Tasks will vary depending on the school/settings and positions.

All our supply staff are required to hold or apply for an Enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the DBS update service. If you do not hold a certificate, as School Improvement Liverpool is an umbrella company for the DBS, we can assist you in your application.
