We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our well established team. You will be expected to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups and support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of detailed and specialist skills/knowledge in particular areas. To assist the teacher in the whole planning cycle and supervise whole classes or groups during the short-term absence of a teacher.
Part of this role involves Monday to Friday in our Breakfast and After School Club duties.(Times will be discussed at interview).
Breakfast club duties will involve Taking part in the day–to–day administration, record keeping, ordering and purchasing materials and equipment.
Assisting the Management Team in planning a range of suitable activities
Working with the children to prepare activities and organise and lead safe, creative, play opportunities.
Providing full care for the children including: delivering children to class in the morning, collecting children from class and delivering them safely to their parents or carers at the end of the day.
To promote positive behaviour. Preparing nutritional snacks for children.
Administering first aid as appropriate. Carrying out all responsibilities within an equal opportunities framework. Working within agreed policies and to support the Out of School Club Management Team in maintaining Ofsted standards.
