We are searching for Teaching Assistants for schools across East London to start as soon as possible.
Teaching Assistants provide cover at our partnered secondary schools across East London. These Teaching Assistants roles are suitable for people with either full or part time ability, and would involve working with secondary aged students with a range of abilitites and across many departments.
As a Teaching Assistant, you would also be required to work with students with SEN. Work becomes available the morning of, usually around 7am, so applicants must be ok with being contacted on mornings they have marked as being available for.
The school are looking for people with experience within a seoncdary school environment/with secondary aged children (11-16). This role would be great for people who want to work either full or part time, either on set days or a more flexible schedule.
Responsibilities of Teaching Assistants:
- Working with children aged KS3 & 4 operating classes in various subjects
- Helping children with special educational needs
- Engaging with students for 4-5 periods
- Treating children with respect and kindness as a teaching assistant Job
Requirements to be a Teaching Assistant:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Interest in working with children (specifically with SEN)
- Experience working with secondary aged children, informally or formally
- Right to work in the UK Desirable for a Teaching Assistant:
- An honours degree (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent
