ABOUT THE ROLE The role of the Teaching Fellow will include: developing and delivering undergraduate modules, particularly in support of the Technocamps is a pan-Wales schools and community outreach programme based at Swansea University but with hubs at Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff, Cardiff Metropolitan and Glyndŵr Universities and the Universities of South Wales and of Wales Trinity Saint David. Its aim is to encourage an increase in the number of pupils who opt to study computer science and its cognate STEM subjects. The Institute of Coding in Wales is the business engagement arm of Technocamps, providing continuous professional development and other lifelong learning opportunities. Institute of Coding in Wales offerings whose learners attend the University for lectures and labs on Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings; and developing and delivering workshops and training sessions for the community including both Primary and Secondary school pupils and teachers, both on campus and in schools. The Teaching Fellow will report directly to the Director of Technocamps.
