TEACHING SUPPORT ASSISTANT APPRENTICE

Ascent College

Fixed term (18 months)

Term Time (190 days) + 7 days

5 days per week (37.5 hours)

Pro rata salary: £13,372 (including SEN)

The Remarkable Group has been established for over 50 years, providing the highest quality services for autistic young people. Ascent College (ages 16 – 25) operate an independent specialist college with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding education and care to young people with Autism. We are the first national provider to receive Beacon status from the National Autistic Society.

We are looking for Teaching Support Assistant Apprentices who wish to develop their skills in this interesting and challenging field. Applications are invited from enthusiastic and ambitious individuals who are passionate about ensuring the best possible outcomes for our young people with autism; individuals who are keen to develop their skills and abilities as an apprentice in SEN and to contribute to the continued development and success of the school and college.

Part of your role will be supporting autistic adults in the workplace, community and onsite. We are person centred and keen to further develop our student’s aspirations developing confident, respectful and independent autistic young adults in order for them to live a happy fulfilled life.
