Working for a global Construction and Engineering company who have one of the best cultures and working environments around, we are looking for an experienced Team Administrator to join their IT Service Delivery Team.
Our client has fantastic offices with great facilities including free parking, Costa Coffee on-site and a lovely subsidised restaurant that has just all been re-furbished.
Very flexible working pattern available - we will support anyone wanting to work between 30 - 40 hours per week.
The role is working 3 days a week on-site at their Farnborough offices and 2 days remotely per week.
Summary of the role
The IT Service Delivery Team Administrator is responsible for the provision of administrative support to the UK IT Department.
The IT Service Delivery Team Administrator provides support and coordination of procurement and asset management to the local IT department as well as communication and assistance to the end-user community.
Key Responsibilities:
Raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage invoicing.
Identify any need for subsequent levels of escalation and escalate as appropriate while maintaining ownership.
Coordinate and create literature and communications for new services and changes to existing services, in conjunction with the global communications team.
Monitor the quality of the Service Order Requests.
Provide feedback and follow-up with training sessions where needed.
Help coordinate complex requests.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience supporting an IT Team in an administration capacity
- Experience with asset management an advantage
- Previous experience within IT procurement and forecasting an advantage
- Excellent relationship management skills, ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to work stand-alone, but with strong team player capability
- Understanding and experience of managing end to end procurement processes
- Proven ability to coordinate the efforts of others in a cross functional environment in the delivery of IT services to the business within a “client service excellence” culture.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (English).
- A good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage.
- Able to work effectively as a member of global virtual teams.
