Job description

XLP is a youth work charity working to create positive futures for young people and at the cutting edge of tackling poverty and educational failure in inner London. We deliver holistic, long-term work with young people aged 11 to 25 in schools and communities.
We’re looking for an Executive Assistant who will provide critical and proactive support to the CEO, resolving issues on their behalf to enable them to increase their externally facing work. You will work to expand the CEO’s network and connections with key relevant individuals, and work across XLP, ensuring those accountable to the CEO deliver excellent work within agreed timescales.

Aims for the role:

  • Provide professional advice, executive administration support and assistance to the office of the CEO and ensure the CEO's schedule is followed and respected.
  •  Act as a gatekeeper to the CEO, to protect their time and increase their capacity to lead XLP, a busy and multifaceted charity.
  • Maintain excellent internal and external relationships to enable collaborative working across XLP.
  • Be the first point of contact before the CEO, navigating and resolving issues on behalf of the CEO that do not require their attention.

About You

You'll have prior experience in a similar role, and be passionate about the work XLP does transforming the lives of young people in London.

  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role
