SalaryExcel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Team Leader - Nights for a Supported Living service on a permanent full-time basis, based in Lisburn with a salary of £26,000 approx. per year along with a staff benefits package.
Our client has delivered exceptional and life-changing services and support to people with physical and learning disabilities, for more than 50 years, across Northern Ireland enabling children and adults to live full lives in the community.
Shifts for this role will run from 8pm to 8am on a rota basis covering Monday - Sunday.
Responsibilities:
With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:
- Support the Registered Manager to ensure the service meets all regulatory requirements as well as develop and deliver support plans/risk assessments to ensure individual needs are met.
- Ensure that quality care and support are delivered effectively and have responsibility for the effective management of resources and budgets.
- Supervise, motivate, and mentor a team of Support Workers along with providing exceptional support and care to Service Users.
Requirements:
- GCSE English and Maths; Grade C minimum.
- Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Minimum two years of experience providing care/support in a similar setting.
- Experience in supervising/managing a team in a similar setting.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the needs of those with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
- Be willing to commit to unsocial hours.
