Team Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Team Manager with the Simpson Family Resource Centre team. We are a long established team who work in partnership with SEHSCT Family Assessment and Intervention Service (FAIS) to provide parenting education, assessment and support to parents/carers who are referred by the Trust and where there are Child Protection concerns or where the child(ren) are not currently living at home. This role will be varied and challenging, offering opportunities for professional development as you will be involved in supporting the Children's Service Manager to manage the team through supervision and practice development as well as undertaking direct work with families. Hold a professional qualification in Social Work recognised by NISCC & Registered with the NI Social Care Council (Application Form)

Have a minimum of 2 years post-AYE and recent experience in a family and childcare setting across Hardiker levels 3 & 4 (Application form)

Experience of undertaking complex assessments and/or court directed work and contributing to statutory decision making forums including the provision of written reports (Application form & Interview)

Experience of working therapeuticially with children/families effected by adverse experiences e.g. trauma, social disadvantage, family breakdown, parenting difficulties, mental health, domestic violence and substance misuse (Application form)

Experience of applying child protection/safeguarding policies and procedures (application form & interview)

Experience of supervising and supporting others within the workplace (application form and interview)

Hold a full UK driving licence, business insurance and access to a car for work purposes
