Lisburn or Dublin based- 2 days a week in office
For over a decade, this European developer has developed and sold over 5GW of renewable energy assets, as well as building over 2GW of these assets. They are currently developing over 22GW of onshore wind, solar and battery energy storage assets.
They are looking to grow their technical function out through the crucial addition of a Team Manager into their Battery storage and Energy storage team.
The role:
You'd be leading a growing team with 3 team members currently, shortly growing this out to 4 members in the first quarter of this year. They have recently finished energising and commissioning their live projects, so their pipeline is focusing more on early development stages.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing grid connection processes for Battery Energy Storage projects across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- Mentoring and training the team. Supporting and leading team meetings and steering priorities.
- Negotiating and managing development and construction contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high-quality standard.
- Managing relationships with leading bodies and external agencies associated with securing connection agreements and project development.
- Managing various stakeholders both internally and externally.
For this role, experience with utility scale battery energy storage projects at early stages in their project life cycle is crucial, as well as a year minimum leading somebody.

This means their pipeline is looking really healthy heading into the new year!
