Job description

Our client is an innovative and dynamic Legal Group, who are experiencing an exciting period of growth and seeking to expand their IT team by recruiting a Tech Support Engineer who will be responsible for ongoing onsite and remote working of hardware and software support and assisting in the administration of all IT customer facing services

You should be a true team player with a positive attitude, be driven, well organised with a innovative and strategic approach to your work, able to work as part of a virtual team

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) you will be helping to deliver maximum uptime and resolve user and customer (ITIL) issues, you should be able to demonstrate root-cause analytical skills, in turn developing and enhancing our IT knowledge base.

The ideal candidate will hold exceptional customer focused communication and engagement skills, able to understand the user needs, their tools and applications, and be able to plan, schedule and monitor workloads.

Key Skills include:

  • Networking LAN /WAN and Wi-Fi.
  • Server Operating Systems.
  • Cloud based telephony (Connex One).
  • Windows Desktop software (Windows 10 /11).
  • Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Remote working troubleshooting tools.
  • High trouble-shooting methods.

Legal Practice experience would be advantageous, however is not essential as is Proclaim Case Management System, HubSpot Customer Relationship Management and Cyber Essentials or Minimum Cyber Security Standard would be advantageous.
