Technical Architect
Inside IR35
Contract Term: 12 months contract
Contracting Authority: MoD
Location: Remote - Occasional travel to Salisbury or Portsmouth

As a Technical Architect, your main responsibilities would be:
Duties:
- Be responsible for leading the technical design of systems and services, justifying and communicating design decisions
- Assure other services and system quality, ensuring the technical work fits into the broader strategy for government
- Explore the benefits of cross-government alignment
- Provide mentoring within teams
- Provide leadership to other architects
- Designs systems characterised by medium levels of risk, impact and business or technical complexity.
- Be delivering on project or programme level tasks.Provide technical leadership and mentor other architects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of application and systems architectures.
- Experience of working with commercial suppliers, understanding their motives and contractual constraints.
- The ability to quickly develop good working relationships across a range of levels and resources.
- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to translate complex technical matters to a simple business related view.
- Good networking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Tact and diplomacy in dealing with a wide range of issues/challenges.
- Persistence to see things through to a conclusion
- The ability to handle conflicting priorities and successfully delivering to changing requirements
- A familiarity with writing and reviewing technical documentation within an architectural context.
